Age requirements and vehicle restrictions for guests in the United States:
- You must be 18 or older to book with a peer-to-peer host and 21 or older to book with a Commercial Host.
- Guests who book with peer-to-peer hosts can choose a protection plan through Turo.Â
- Guests ages 18-21 who book with a peer-to-peer host must choose either the Minimum or the Standard protection plan. They can’t decline a protection plan nor can they choose a plan other than one of these two.
- Guests ages 22 or older who book with a peer-to-peer host can choose the Premier, Standard, or Minimum protection plan or they can choose to Decline protection.
- Guests who book with Commercial Hosts will be offered commercial rental insurance by their host.
- If you are under the age of 21, you can’t book a car with a total market value of more than $20k.
- You must be 25 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
- You must be 30 or older to book a Super Deluxe Class car or a specialty vehicle.

- You must be 21 or older to book a car in Canada.
- You must be 25 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
- You must be 30 or older to book a Super Deluxe Class car or a specialty vehicle.
Age requirements and vehicle restrictions for guests in the UK:
- You must be at least 21 and no older than age 74 to book a car in the UK.
- You must be 30 or older to book a Deluxe Class car.
All other regions where Turo operates
You must be 21 or older to book a car with a host located outside of the US, Canada, or the UK.
