What Is Uber Eats Barcode Scan For Drivers?

Uber Eats barcode scan feature allows delivery drivers to scan barcodes or QR codes to verify they are picking up the correct order.

How does it work?

  • When you accept the delivery, the Uber Eats app will state Barcode Scan Required.
  • If no prompt appears when you accept the delivery, no barcode scan is required.
  • Scan the provided barcode on the package or each item using your app.
  • Once the scan is successful, the app will prompt you to complete the delivery.
  • At drop off, scan the package again.
