How To Set Up Cash Trips For Riders
- Tap on account on the bottom right of the app.
- Tap on wallet on top middle of screen.
- Tap on add payment method.
- Tap on cash.
- All trips will now be paid with cash.
What To Do Before You Send Out A Cash Trip
Before you send out a Cash Trip on Uber check the estimated value of the trip before requesting it. If you don’t have the amount, change the payment method in the app, for it is not possible to change it during or after the trip.
Driver Didn’t Have Change
Uber drivers are not required to provide you with change and is recommend that you have the exact amount of the fare on hand. But if this is not possible you can either give the change to your driver as a tip or ask the driver to return your change in Uber Cash through the app. Just note very high amounts with not be accepted on the app.
- Note: If you’re looking to give the change to your driver as a tip, make sure to make that absolutely clear to your driver.
What To Do If You Selected Cash Trip By Mistake
If you should have selected cash trip by mistake and unable to pay the driver at the end of the trip, the drive will let Uber know through the app. If this should happen, a debit will be generated in your account and will be added to your next ride.
