What are Lyft WAV Rides?

They are Lyft’s wheelchair-accessible vehicles that can fit your fixed-frame wheelchair. Lyft’s offers these rides through a ride type called Access. When a rider requests an Access ride, Lyft will pair them with available drivers who can accommodate a non-folding or motorized wheelchair or scooter.

How To Request A WAV

To request a WAV, you will first need to turn on wheelchair access in you Lyft app settings. Once it is turned on, you will see a new ride mode called Access when you request a ride.
