With DoorDash’s Dash Along the Way dashers can make the most of their time on the road by delivering orders on their way to a nearby zone.

How Does DoorDash’s Dash Along The Way Work?

1. If you want to dash in a zone you aren’t currently located in, select it on the map and tap “Dash Along the Way” before you start dashing to hold your spot.
2. DoorDash will then look for orders along the way or as soon as you arrive.
3. If you are given an order along the way and accept the delivery, you will continue on your route after that order has been delivered.
