How Does Google Translate To Text Work?
- Tap the name of the current language on the left side and select as the source language.
- Then tap the name of the language you’re looking to translate to on the right side and select target language.
- Next, tap the field that says enter text and start typing the word or phrase you wish to translate.

How Does Google Translate Images Work?
- On the home screen in the app choose the source and target languages.
- Then tap the camera icon.
- Aim your device’s camera at the sign, menu, or document you need translated.
- Give the app a moment to recognize the text.
- The translation is superimposed over the image and is viewable right on the screen.
How Does Google Translate Real-Time Conversations Work?
- Choose the two languages.
- Tap conversation icon.
- Carry on conversation manually or automatically.
